Outfit of the Day: Sunshine Yellow :)

So I decided my outfit was too cute not to share with you guys! I am wearing a yellow skirt I got at Target & I just love it! Its so flowy & perfect for summer. My top is just a plain gray shirt from aeropastale & my belt is actually from another dress I got at target. I thought the green & yellow would be so cute together. On my feet I am wearing a floral print of flats from Payless. & I am wearing my Cinderella charm bracelet from the Disney Store! I am so in love with it :)

Good evening!

So as I promised I am back at it again! I have gotten loads of new things since my last post so it would be pretty hard to show you everything I have gotten. I have decided to show you a few things I have gotten within the past two weeks. Enjoy!

I got a new job where I have to dress nicely. All I have are heels & heels don't always work for standing on my feet all day. I decided I needed a pair of black flats that matched everything & boy was I right! I am sooo in love with these flats. They are incredibly comfy & super adorable. Best part, they were only  $20 at Charlotte Russe! You can't beat that!

Here are my most recent make up purchases. On the very top is a mascara that  I am really loving. This is a seecond purchase so i clearly love it. It is L'Oreal Voluminous Original in Blackest Black. I love this mascara because it doesn't clump at all & it is easy to apply. It seperates my lashes really nicely & adds tons of volume. Next is a powder from Physicians Formula. It is Mineral Wear Talc Free Airbrushing Loose Powder in Natural Beige. I really love this because it goes on smoothly & it lasts a long time. It makes my fast look really soft & it covers up redness really well. My most recent foundation purchase is Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Make Up in Natual Beighe 60. It had SPF 20 which is awesome & it is super light weight & air soft. It gives really great coverage without feeling so heavy & thick. Lastly I purchased an eye shadow pallet by NYX. I was so excited when I saw that Nordstroms Rack is now selling NYX products because this brand is designer quality for less. The colors are so vibrant & pretty & the prices are amazing.

This pallete is from the Caribbean Collection  & it is ESP5C 02 I Dream Of St. Maarten.I love the smokey browns & golds. It looks really good with brown or copper eye liner.

Oopsies!

Hey guys! Its been wayyy too long since I have lasted posted. I am so sorry! I have been so busy with life, but I feel like things are finally going back on track & I am begining to be happy again! School is starting in about a month & I will be taking a fashion class. So I am hoping that what I will learn in class I will be able to share with you. I really want to do some OOTD posts & send some awesome tips your way. I know summer is ending soon, but I still want to share my summer style with you guys!

I'm back! :D

Hello guys!
So as promised I am here with a new post! Since the last time I blogged, I have gotten tons of new things! So many things I can't even remember them all to tell you! So I will show you my favorites. I have gotten a lot of new make up & a new make up box! I am so excited to show you the box especially. You will see why!

 So this is my new make up box! It has three drawers filled with my goodies. The top drawer is where i keep all my face products: foundation, powders, blushes, primers, etc. The middle drawer is everything for my eyes & brows. & the last drawer is my tools. So my brushes & eye lash curler goes in there. I totally love this because everything is organized & nothing can break.

 These are my new brushes! I ordered all these on Amazon, btw. The first one is a foundation brush. I absolutely love it. It makes blending my fondation so much easier & i think it looks better. Its by bdellium tools & its #955. The middle is a blush brush from Eco Tools. Its super soft & it makes applying blush so easy. The last one is a power brush by Eco Tools as well. Love the softness as well.

 I am in love with this product! Its a felt tip eye liner pen by Physicians Formula in Ultra Black. It goes on sooo easy & it looks like a gel or liquid liner. I wear it only on my top lash line & i wing it out occassionally.

 I finally got MAC make up!!! This studio fix in the color NW20. I adore this powder. It goes on very nicely & the coverage is perfect.

 I LOVE this! This is MAC Prolong Wear SPF 10 Foundation in the color NW20. It seriousl lasts all day! It gives great coverage. I usually apply a light layer to my whole face, than go back to areas that need a little more coverage & pack it in a little bit more. So it acts as my foundation & cover-up all in one. With a little primer under it, it really does last a lot better than any other drug store product i have used.

 I was in the market for a cheap new bronzer & I picked the NYW Sun 'n' Bronze bronzing powder in 707 Fire Island Tan. I am actually surprised at how much I like it. Its not too dark & its easy to blend.

I just got this today so I have not tried it yet, but i have high hopes! The gal at Sephora told me this was her all time favorite. She says that it gives a very velvety feel & its excellent for making pores seem smaller & reducing redness. Its the Too Faced Primed & Poreless skin smoothing face primer. So I am very excited to try this out.

So there are a few of my favorite new things. I am wanting to put up some OOTD's & some spring looks real soon, so stay tuned!

I have neglected you guys :(

Ladies! I am so sorry I have not been posting for a while! I feel like I have neglected you guys! && I miss you! I have been going through a lot of things in my life right now. I've had a car accident, a break up, school, moving, heart break, etc. Its been rough these past months, but I am hoping that from here on out my life only goes up hill from here. I promise that I will be posting new blogs very soon! I have a lot of new things to show you, a bunch of new beauty & fashion purchases that I have been so excited about! Clothes or Makeup? Clothes! Oh I am a shopping addict! I could spend all day in the mall browsing throught every store! I'd be broke though LOL.
Hairspray or Frizz Lotion? Frizz lotion. It makes my hair really soft & smells good :)
T.V or Book? Books. I dont watch a lot of tv. Only a few good shows :)
Pool or Beach? Both? I would definitely choose the beach! Its so much more beautiful and I love the feel of sand. Cant wait to move to Long Beach next year!
Water or Soda? I am a big soda lover, but I need to drink more water.
Sandals or Boots? Sandals! I love showing off my pedicure.
Purse or Backpack? I hate backpacks. They make my back hurt more than it already does. So purses!
Team Jacob or Team Edward? TEAM JACOB! He is soooo gorgeous :)
Wizards of Waverly Place or Hannah Montana? Hanah Montana. Lol
Mall or Online Shopping? Mall, i hate shopping online. I get bored.
Tennis or Soccer? Neither. I play softball :)

Target & Pac Sun Haul :)

Hello everyone!
As I said yesterday, I am sorry for being a slacker with the posts! I have been crazy busy & stressed! & stress always leads to retail therapy & retail therapy leads to hauls! Yay! :) I cannot wait to show you what I recently got on trips to my favorite store ever, Target, & Pac Sun!

So first I got my first leopard print anything! I was debating between black or leopard, & I was like you know what, I am going with the leopard just to spice up my life! They are so cute & they were only $15 :)

Next I picked up a new concealor. I wanted one that would help cover my acne scars better than how I was before. Its in the color buff beige by Cover Girl. It  was under $5.

My old eye lash curler broke :( So I got another one by elf. Just $1 :)

I'm really excited about this because I had used anther dry shampoo by Suave & it was alright. Than I saw this one & I was like yay! I am going to try it! It is suppose to help add the keratin back into your hair & help keep it healthy. It was $3.50.

Had to get the latest Cosmo with the gorgeous Selena on the cover :)

Pac Sun has some really great sales. They will have at least 5 racks filled with marked down clothes that have an additional 30% or 40% off. I got this super cute, light-weight top for under $10! Its longer in the back & it has a really cute criss cross back. I think its so adorable.

& lastly this super cute flowy skirt! (oops the picture is upsidedown!) I  think the print is so cute & it will look good with a cute beige top or even a blue top. it was under $10 as well!

I feel like I scored big time with all the things that I got! I am so excited for each of them. Let me know if you would like me to do a review on any of the products above.

Hey everyone! I know I'm a day behind, but as promised here is an outfit of the day where I am wearing the brown booties :)

My top is just a loose white button up from Marshall's. I'm wearing dark skinny jeans from American Eagle & a key shaped necklace from Juicy Couture. I wanted the shoes to be the main part of the outfit so I went with a simple look. I tucked my top in because I thought it looked more put together & classy.

So I have to show you the shoes I borrowed from my best friend. They are brown lace up wedged booties.I love them! They look great with dark skinnies & are incredibly easy to walk in. OOTD: Interview

Hey ladies!
So I wanted to post a quick blog on my outfit. I have an interview this afternoon with 24 Hour Fitness & I wanted to show you my outfit!

My makeup is simple. Just a hint of pink blush, liquid line on my top lid, and a light mauve lip. Hair in a ballerina bun, as you can see :)

This blue dress came with the green belt & I just got it yesteray from Target. I am wearing a cardigan from Hollister & boots from brown boots from Wet Seal. & I am wearing nylons because I didn't have time to shave this morning! :)

The Lying Game

Evening! I know its late, but I just had to do a post! I watch the Lying Games on a regular basis. I LOVE this show. Its sooooo intense! Tonights episode was especially intense! The twins in the show have killer style. Not to mention, there is some fine man candy (hehe). Just wanted to share some outfits with you guys that I am loving! I am thinking soon I will do an OOTD in which I try and recreate an outfit from the show!

DIY Bow Bracelets!

Hello friends! I was browsing Facebook & I came across a video from Macbarbie07. She did a tutorial on how to make leather bow bracelets! They are so cute! I can't wait to make my own. They cool thing is you can just use old purses. Just thought I would share :) Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Lately I have been completely obsessed with Gossip Girl! Seasons 1-4 is on Netflix & literally, that is all I have been doing. Serena & Blair's style is incredible. Serena has a tendency to be more bold with her outfit choices, while Blair has the classy, sophisticated style. Both I ADORE! & they have the best hair! I am in love with Serena's wispy locks. They are beautiful when they are messy & windblown. Blair's hair is gorgeous when it is curled & when it is down up in pretty updos. & of course her signature headbands! Not only am I obsessing over their create sense of style, I have been green with envy of their lives! I find myself wishing I lived their lives, and wondering what I would do in their shoes. Crazy right?! Now I have a super strong urge to go to New York! Here are a few of my favorite outfits from the show :)

Inspiration: Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad is my idol. I think she is one of the most aspirational individuals in Hollywood. She started out in high school on a reality show called Laguna Beach on MTV & ended up as a successful business woman. After Laguna Beach, she starred in a spin off reality show called the Hills, which was highly successful. Instead of falling into the usually Hollywood cliche of partying & being unruly, she used her stardom to put herself & her dreams into action. She is not only a reality star, but a best-selling author, designer, & entrepreneur. She has a three part book series LA Candy and fashion book called Style. She has a spin off book series in the making, launching this spring, and a beauty book out soon. She recently launched a line of clothing called Paper Crown & has a line at Kohls. She also has two blog sites that are widely popular, which are linked on my side bar of my website.

The reason I adore her so much is because instead of changing for the Hollywood scene, she remained true to herself. She didn't abuse her new found fame. She used to to achieve her dreams and better herself. She has such incredible style and taste in clothes. I love her line at Kohls, and I hope one day to own a piece from her Paper Crown collection. I think she is one of the most gorgeous women in the world, and she is a role model to girls of all ages. I hope one day to be as successful as she.

My First OOTD!

Hey hey! So I am very excited because I am posting my very first Outfit of the Day post :) This post will include my outfit, makeup & hair. I hope you like it  :)

So today I went for a casual, comfy look that was still trendy. I got my plaid shirt from Target, my jeans from Hollister, my boots from Love Culture, & my necklace from Styles For Less. Unfortunetly I forgot where I got my tank top from. This outfit is one of my favorites. It is really cute for the day & can even be worn for a casual date. I think it is perfect for school as well. It's cute and it's easy to throw on in the morning.

For my make-up & hair, I wanted to comliment my casual outfit with a easy, natural-looking look. I used a peachy blush with soft shades of brown on my eyes. I used a darker brown in my outer crease. I used liquid eye liner on my top lid & used black mascara. I also filled in my brows. For my hair, I parted it slightly off-centered & did my bangs in a twist to the side.

DIY iPhone Covers!

Hello lovlies! My sister sent me the coolest idea! Its a DIY iPhone cover! Sounds awesome right?! Well all you need is a clear case & some cure paper, like scrapbook paper. You trace the outline of your phone including the camera whole & you just stick it in your clear case & there ya go! A one of a kind, custom iPhone case! My best friend just got her iPhone & when I told her about this she was just beyond thrilled! Than she came up with an additional idea! Why not use other things besides paper? Her idea was to take a Juicy Couture bag & use that as the paper! (We are HUGE Juicy fans!) So it doesn't have to be paper, it can be anything you find cute!

If you are a big online shopper, or you just love finding great deals than I have found something for you! My sister emailed me a link to a site that has really cute clothes for a really good price! New additions to my make-up bag :)

Hey beauty lovers!
I have been living at Target the past few days. I spend at least a half hour roaming the three aisles of the make-up sections. & I have madea few selections that I am very excited about.

So the first thing I got was a new lipstick. It is Moisture Renew by Rimmel in the sahde Rose Blush (300). I really like it because it is a sublt pink color & its not to far from my natural lip color. I can a light amount on to ad a little bit of color or I can put on more to make my lips pop a little more. I really love it. Next is my new eye shadow palette. It is by Loreal in the shade Subtle Berries (504). The colors are really pretty & the compliment my eye color really nicely. I also got a new blush. It is NYC Color Wheen Mosiac Face Poweder in Pink Cheek Glow. It is really pretty and it seems to last throughout the day, which is a plus. I really like all the colors in the wheel. I was in need of a new face powder so I chose Revlon Color Stay in Light. I am not too sure how I like it. My face is really dry because of my eczema and it doesnt cover the way I would like it to. Hopefully once my dry skin is under better control, it will cover better. Lastly I got what I have been wanting! I broke down and got Baby Lips by Maybelline in Peach Kiss. I LOVE it! My lips are so soft now & it smells really good!

I also had a gift card to a jewelry & accessory store called Charming Charlies. It has tons of jewelry, all color coordinated. Its so pretty to walk in the store! Anyways, I purchased a really pretty cream colored heandband with a pretty flower on the side. I love it. :)

Time for a change!

So for the past few months I have played with the idea of cutting my hair. Than my friend (hehe Janah) got hers cut & I totally love it! It looks so good on her & I am completely jealous. Than a dew days ago I made a rash decision. & I followed through with it. I have to say I am very happy with the results. (:

My hair is soooo much shorter than it has ever been! I have been growing my hair out for like 5 years. But I absolutely love my new length. It is so easy & I think it looks really cute. So thanks Janah for the idea!

Wardrobe update!

I am a magazine junkie. I love looking through them & getting inspiration & ideas. I keep most of mine as well. I have magazines from like 4 years ago! My faves are Cosmo & Seventeen. Flipping through the pages I have started to compile a list of wishes of things I need (okay, I just think I need them). I will share with you guys a few items off that wishlist. If you have tried one of the products, let me know how you liked it :)

Suave Waterless Foam Shampoo. I have tried a dry shampoo by Suave before & its awesome. It smells great & it keeps my hair fresh between showers. I am interested to try it in a foam version.

Baby Lips by Maybelline. I am a huge chapstick addict & I want to try this one so badly! I have picked it up a few times on trips to Target, just to wind up putting it back & waiting til next time. But my next trip to Target I will make sure it ends up in my bag!



MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. I have heard great reviews on this powder & I want to try it out for myself. I usually don't splurge on my make-up just because I didn't see the need to, but recently I am finding that I cannot find a lasting foundation and powder combo that will not only cover up my imperfections, but last throughout the day.

Max Coverage Foundation Brush. I usually use my finger to blend in m foundation, but my sister used a foundation brush on me & I really loved it.








Two Faced Natural At Night Sexy & Sultry Eyeshadow Collection. I think this eyeshadow collection is really pretty and can be really great for day or night.

Happy New Year!!! :D

It's 2012 already! It felt as if 2011 flew right by. But I have to say it wasn't a bad year at all. I made new friendships, fell in love & got a new job! Lets hope 2012 brings even more joy to my life :)

Now, I don't generally make New Years resolutions because I have problems with sticking to them (LOL), but this year I figured what the hell. I might as well. I have come up with a few that I think I can work with & keep on track.

Resolutions for 2012:
1. Lose a few pounds, ten would be nice.
2. Update my wardrobe. Try new styles that I generally would be nervous about.
3. Learn how to apply make-up properly.
4. Get rid of my acne! Gross. (already in progess!)
5. SAVE MONEY! I have really hard time with this. LOL.

I think my resolutions are simple enough to stick to & fun at the same time! Hopefully by this time next year I can check each one off my list :)
